The Head of HR partners with management to drive the people strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring timely HR services, meeting talent needs, building employee capability, and enhancing engagement through strategic HR initiatives and programs.

Job Description

  • Creates and executes human resources strategies (short to mid-term, long-term 1-5 years) to support the organization's goals.
  • Conducts review or development of HR policies and translates these policies into operating guidelines; consults with the GM to ensure alignment with overall business directions.
  • Establishes a strategy to ensure the organization has the right mix of talent and employment models to reach future goals.
  • Supports leadership and management team to establish a proactive succession planning process to ensure continuity for management roles.
  • Designs, reviews and implements compensation and benefits strategy (equally implemented across levels and competes with the market).Guides Line Managers in implementing the employee disciplinary process which includes case investigation, facilitation of administrative hearings, and providing expert advice on case evaluation and decisions.
  • Ensures that the basic labor standards are complied with based on local ordinances, regulations, or laws.
  • Designs a sustainable D&I approach through an employee-centric strategy that addresses inequities in organizational and talent systems.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Psychology.
  • At least a minimum of 15 years of broad and in-depth experience in the field of Human Resources in a medium to large-sized MNC company.
  • Significant experience in leading others.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong operational business acumen, strategic thinking, executive presence, presentation skills, and influence.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a matrixed environment; with confidence to overcome ambiguity.
