Job Description

As a Head of Distribution, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and optimising all transportation operations within the logistics department.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and standards.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to meet service level agreements and customer expectations.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and management of the transportation fleet.
  • Leading and mentoring a team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks within transportation operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Distribution should have:
