Ho Chi Minh City Permanent View Job Description
We are seeking an investor relations professional to help operate and elevate an institutional-grade fundraising and LP relationship platform. This is a commercially minded, execution-heavy role for someone who wants real responsibility in shaping how a venture firm presents itself to the market, builds allocator relationships, and raises capital.
  • Own LP sourcing, pipeline, and fundraising execution
  • Partner with GPs on allocator strategy and relationships

About Our Client

Our client is a Vietnam-based venture capital firm investing in high-potential technology founders across Vietnam and Southeast Asia, with a long-term, hands-on approach to building enduring companies and strengthening the regional startup ecosystem.

  • Proactively identified and removed friction in the fundraising process
  • Become a trusted partner to the GPs for allocator preparation, follow-up, and relationship continuity
  • Begun contributing informed perspectives on allocator motivations, timing, and engagement strategy

Within 12 months, you will have:

  • Helped run a disciplined, repeatable fundraising process with high signal-to-noise
  • Earned increasing ownership of allocator conversations and relationship management
  • Become a go-to thought partner for fundraising strategy, LP targeting, and external positioning
  • Built durable relationship equity with allocators who view you as a credible, thoughtful representative of the firm

The Successful Applicant

This role is designed for a commercially minded, execution-oriented operator with experience in sales, business development, partnerships, investor relations, or similarly relationship-driven environments. Scope and autonomy will be calibrated to demonstrated ownership, judgement, and execution strength in ambiguous, high expectation settings.

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, partnerships, investor relations, capital raising, or similarly relationship-intensive roles
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex priorities
  • Experience running long-cycle pipelines end-to-end, from sourcing and qualification through prioritization, follow-up, and closing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to represent an organization clearly, credibly, and thoughtfully
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, financial data software, and external fundraising databases
  • Curiosity and initiative to explore AI-, data-, and tech-driven solutions to automate and streamline processes
  • Understanding of PE/VC fund structures, fund performance metrics, and allocator types and preferences
